History:

THE LIMBZ was created in 1990 by Knowledje Jay AKA KAJMAJ (Joshua Mendoza), IZE (Isaac Barba), and producer X.TEK (George Duarte). The groups first name was "Poetic Justice Cru" in 1989, prior to the film of the same name. PJPC, consisted of X.TEK OVERLOAD and KAJMAJ. IZE at that time was MC'ing and dancing, and eventually met up with KajMaj to find out that they were biological brothers with very similar interests.

In 1993 all three formed the group "The Outta Limbz"; in 1996 due to the rereleased TV show called Outta Limitz, the groups name was shortened to THE LIMBZ. Late in 2000, two other members where added to the Limbz roster, DJ JRA (Joey Ambriz) and Mr. NoName (Micah Douglass), who along with the original three members are THE LIMBZ in 2008.

The Limbz have put out a couple albums one was an EP with 10 Songs called BRAINCHILD produced by the original producer X.TEK OVERLOAD, released in 1999. The Second was a full length album entitled " Vocal Vitamin/ Vital Supplement" produced by JRA in 2001, Featuring - DARK LEAF, EXISTEREO of the SHAPE SHIFTERS, Dylan Judah and more.

Four out of five members of THE LIMBZ are family, Kaj Maj and IZE are half brothers, KAJMAJ and X.TEK are godbrothers and IZE and JRA are cousins, we all consider ourselves brothers, in art and through Hiphop we are also related, which creates the persona of the name The LIMBZ, meaning we are all limbz of our family tree in Hip Hop culture and music.
